Steve Chapman set up his first education business in 1999 with his wife Mary. Dragonfly Teaching became the UK’s most prominent Training company for School Teachers. They have always approached teaching in innovative ways which is shown by the many educational and industry awards.

Steve has worked in top performing state and independent schools both here and in London, as well as Kenya, the Caribbean and USA. For the last 22 years his main job has been working with teachers in a training capacity at some of the world’s top schools and now finds him opening up Acadia Learning Centre in Penarth as well as helping the governments in countries like Cyprus and Jordan set improved teacher training programmes. 

In 2016 he was awarded Wales’ highest teaching award ‘Sector Leading Practice’ by ESTYN for my work in literacy and creative/extended writing at Evenlode Primary School. 

This course is now available to pupils in yrs 5-8, and is called The WriteKey. It is all about giving pupils the building blocks they will need to achieve in education up to the age of 16.

Steve is also finishing off his long awaited book on education "Improving Classroom Performance" which has received superb reviews and his totally practical approach to teaching and learning. He is well known to many teachers as being one of the most practical and realistic trainers in the UK.
